UK Inspire Day is a celebration of the London 2012 inspire programme, Passing the Baton is one of the exceptional projects to have been awarded the coveted Inspire mark and will be holding and supporting events across the regions throughout the Summer.
Rudi Page, CEO, RAFFA, stated ‘the games are for everyone and we are proud of Passing the Baton and its achievements, so far, particularly relating to the 100 days to go Olympic Film featuring JSTAR Gospel theme and the 100 Days to go Reception, in Brixton organised by ‘Jamaicans Inspired’ with support from Lambeth Enterprise and Veranda Restaurant & Art Gallery’.
Celebrations begin in Birmingham
Passing the Baton will begin the celebrations with a reception at the Community Cohesion Hub, 88 Soho Rd, Handsworth, Birmingham, on Friday 4th May 2012.
Directions Business, Career and Education Fair, is an exciting FREE event for young people between 14-30 years old to access opportunities to achieve their potential. There will be workshops, bite sized seminars, display stands, open forum and presentations from professionals who are willing to share their knowledge, skills and experience.
Local Providers will share information, advice and support relating to business, education and training that has been customised for young people of stands from businesses, education and training providers within the local community giving advice and support to the young people.
Directions Business, Career and Education Fair, takes place at Church of God of Prophecy, Farm Street, Hockley, Birmingham B19 2TZ on Friday 13th April,between 12pm-4pm.
