RAFFA has commissioned JSTAR to establish a local “Youth Health & Wellbeing Panel” and deliver QYD, Passing the Baton and TripleA programmes. Gladstone Revers, Community Chaplain for Young People aims to reduce the risk of social inclusion amongst families within their neighbourhoods. There are plans to extend the Community Chaplain model of care to girls and PRUs.

RAFFA, recently donated specialist medical equipment including, a platelet agitator, optipress, freezers and scales to the National Blood Transfusion Services, who are responsible for Blood collection and distribution across the Island.

Health Professionals and HIV/AIDS
During 2007, RAFFA, organised a knowledge sharing symposium hosted by the Mayor of Spanish Town for Health professionals and practitioners from the Diaspora and Jamaica to share knowledge and experiences about HIV/AIDS for the benefit of local communities, particularly, children and young people.
Food, Nutrition & Healthier Lives in Jamaica
Food, Nutrition & Healthier Lives is an initiative that seeks to link young communities and their natural environment for long-term health improvement and sustainability.
