Lilieth Hyacinth Nelson, born in Kingston, Jamaica, has been referred to frequently as an “Artistic Scientist”. This is due to the fact that in addition to an academic and work-related career in Science Education, Business, Administration and Management, she has a long history of training and active involvement in the Creative and Performing Arts in Jamaica, the Caribbean and beyond.

In Angles of Reflection: Poems by Lil, Lilieth takes her readers on a journey through acyutely intense emotions and relationships, spirituality, anger and outrage at the troubling socio-political isues, flashback to people, places and things in her world, then full circle through childhood to mature adulthood and motherhood, and ends with the voice of her son.
